UCPLA’s Junior Board of Governors was formed in 2016 to cultivate an ongoing legacy of leadership for the UCPLA family of organizations and the people we serve each day. Growing the next generation of philanthropists is important to UCPLA and ensures our community is committed to the ongoing support of UCPLA’s vision and mission.
Our Junior Board offers special opportunities for membership and mentoring of young professional who inspire and expand their knowledge of the important role that philanthropy plays in supporting nonprofit organizations, like UCPLA, that serves the most vulnerable people in our communities. The members of UCPLA’s Junior Board of Governors are dedicated to volunteering their time, talents, and energy to raise critically-needed funds and awareness for the needs of children and adults with disabilities and their families, while advancing their personal, professional, and leadership goals. Members have the unique opportunity to serve as advocates raising awareness about the needs of those with disabilities, fund raise or contribute to the organization through volunteer service.
