As CEO of United Cerebral Palsy, I see first hand the change, growth and challenges facing our organization. Our UCPLA family is a large one. It includes our dedicated staff, many, many committed volunteers, our clients and their loved ones as well as numerous individuals who provide financial support so that we can continue to provide ‘Life without limits for people with disabilities.’
For me, no two days are ever the same. Each minute provides yet another opportunity to pair limited resources with a seemingly endless list of needs; and each one of those needs presents an opportunity to tell a remarkable story about how UCPLA changes lives.
I want to share with you, first hand, those stories. I want you to see the impact of this remarkable organization, in real time, and through my eyes.
I’ve committed to periodically share my thoughts and observations with you through this blog. As a member of the UCPLA family, I hope that you will feel compelled to share this blog with your friends, family and neighbors, so that they too will understand the critical role that UCPLA plays in our community.
Thanks for stopping by…I’m looking forward to meeting with you here often!
