2017 Art of Care
on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at The Globe Theatre in Universal Studios Hollywood. The annual event honored Terri Lantz, UCPLA Clients Rights Advocate, with the Heart and Soul Award. At the event Nike Designer, Tobie Hatfield and advocate, Matthew Walzer, were honored with the Trailblazer award. The event draws over 350 guests and raises $400,000 annually for UCPLA programs and services.

2016 Conejo Valley Family Group Holiday Party
on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the UCPLA Thousand Oaks Residential Campus. Over 100 resident, family members, friends and staff gathered for an Italian-themed Holiday Celebration. The event included food from Buca di Bepo, La Bafana (benevolent Italian Christmas witch) decorations, a photo booth complete with snowballs, a visit from Santa, caroling and much more. Capri Krug, a Junior at Westlake High School, presented a beautifully painted park bench which Capri did as a community service project for Girl Scouts. The bench is a welcome addition to the campus. Special Thanks to: Joan and Tim Jones, Pat Paulucci, the volunteers from Agoura High School and all of the family and friends who joined the celebration.
2016 Employee Recognition Dinner
on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Luxe Sunset Hotel. Board members joined in the celebration of UCPLA staff members with 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 year anniversaries with UCPLA. Creola Howard was recognized for her 50th anniversary with UCPLA. Jim Hudson, CFO, who will be retiring, was also recognized for his dedication to UCPLA.

Hidden In Plain Sight
A short film screening with creator Claudia Kunin was the first event hosted by UCPLA's Junior Board. The reception, short film screening and panel discussion was held at the Annenberg Space for Photography Skylight Studios. Logan Jay Stern, Junior Board President, moderated the event. Step-N-Repeat photos taken by Seong Chon, and candid photos taken by Lily Hernandez. Both UCPLA artists-in-residence are mentored by Nicholas Caesar Colon.

2016 Devon Stern Golf Tournament
on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the Camarillo Springs Golf Course. The 18th annual tournament continues to be a family event co-chaired by Rick Stern and his daughter Logan Stern. The event raised nearly $40,000 to support the Devon Stern Children's Endowment Fund at UCPLA. This fund was created in honor of Devon by her Grandpa Larry Stern to ensure that children with cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities will maximize their potential and live full and dignified lives.

2016 Art of Care Gala
on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Globe Theatre Universal Studios Hollywood. The second annual event honored John Lynch, UCPLA Program Manager for the Chatsworth Adult Day Program, with the Heart and Soul Award, and honored Zach Anner with the Trailblazer award. The event raised nearly $400,000 for UCPLA programs and services.

Something Much More with Burt Bacharach
On Thursday, January 14, 2016, Frank and Shelley Litvack hosted a private concert in their Bel Air home with legendary composer Burt Bacharach performing some of his greatest hits. The event, raising over $50,000, was a pre-event to the 2016 Art of Care gala.

2015 Golf Classic Tournament
The 19th Annual UCP Golf Classic Tournament on Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Wilshire Country Club was chaired by Dr. Alan Kessler and Mrs. Ellen Kessler. The Kesslers along with their committee raised over $390,000. Photos taken by Paul Lester.
