The UCP Parent Support and Advocacy Group will meet one Thursday evening once a month from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. to network, provide information and support for one another and to advocate for the needs of their children. A UCP staff member facilitates the meetings and invites speakers to address a variety of topics requested by participants.

| UCPLA/K.E.N. Project (Kids with Exceptional Needs) |
The UCP/K.E.N. Project is a non-profit parent training and advocacy organization providing workshops training programs and conferences for parents of children with any type of disability. There are two meetings per month that are free and open to parents and professionals who work with children with special needs. During these meetings, parents are provided the opportunity to present issues they are currently experiencing. An Advocate and an Attorney respond with suggestions, referrals and ideas for solving the problems. Spanish language translation is available a week before the scheduled meeting.

Meetings are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at UCP's Administrative Office unless noted otherwise.
